Lloyd has worked with...Queens Park RangersQueens Park Rangers (QPR) football club host an annual Player of the Year event. One of their recent events held at the Hilton Hotel in Edgware Road, London required a full sound system and DJ package. The system had to meet a number of different requirements including formal speeches and after-presentation Disco. The size of the venue was very large and so 3 stages were created - front-end, mid-way and rear to meet the needs of over 1200 people. Lloyd worked closely with a lighting, audio-visual and staging supplier to meet the full requirements of the event. Plasa ShowIn collaboration with Wembley Loudspeakers and Gemini Lloyd provided the front-end sound system for Battle of the DJs, which showcases the best up and coming DJs in the country. Battle of the DJs is held annually at the Plasa Show, Olympia, London. We were asked to supply high specification speakers for this event and chose B-Line, Nemisys and Spyder speakers. Notting Hill CarnivalWe provided a 15,000 watt outdoor sound system for last year’s 2007 Notting Hill Carnival for Fox School. The event consisted of rigging a 40 foot lorry with a sound system suitable for a very noisy and competitive outdoor arena. The major challenge with the Notting Hill Carnival is how you create a consistent clear and pure sound for a 12 hour period on a moving vehicle. The Nemesis and B-Line speakers you guys supplied sounded absolutely fantastic, and helped us really showcase a great line of speakers." Paul McCallum, Wembley Loudspeakers "When it came to providing a disco for our wedding, Lloyd and the team were professional throughout, they liaised directly with the venue for getting in and out of the event, and although it can be difficult to keep a room of over 150 people entertained, did so with an amazing catalogue of tunes and an ability to monitor and adjust to the atmosphere, It helped that Lloyd was approachable throughout the planning for the wedding, and could answer any of the questions regarding sound levels etc that the venue required. It also helped that we could plan a rough playlist with Lloyd beforehand, allowing us to just boogie away on the big day!! Ryan and Aimee Windley, Wedding day disco, Smugglers, Kent
